The $29 million redevelopment, adjacent to the Alan Border Fields in Brisbane, features state-of-the-art training facilities, including gym, 25m indoor lap pool, rehabilitation pool as well as indoor practice wickets and a sports science laboratory.
Spread over 6,800sqm and four storeys high, the building benefits cricketers from all over Australia as part of their pre-season training. The pool hall comprises of high-quality German made tiles by leading tile manufacturer Agrob Buchtal.
Utilising “Ferum” extruded grey-white tiles as a walkway surrounding the pools, the tiles provide optimum safety and comfort underfoot.
The pools interiors contain extruded tiles from Agrob Buchtal’s world renowned Chroma series, designed specifically for optimum adhesion and resistance to chemical attack. Perfectly coordinated accessories with no sharp corners minimise the risk of injury and create a truly long lasting and technically sophisticated facility.
The design and development of Agrob Buchtal pool tiles is based on decades of experience. The Chroma pool tile range sets the benchmark; manufactured by an extrusion process, Chroma tiles offer superior performance qualities for pools when compared to pressed or glass tiles.
