Aqua Plus: Glazed

Aqua Plus represents a new glazed stoneware floor tile from manufacturer Agrob Buchtal, specifically developed for aquatic centre concourses, associated wet area changeroom floors, commercial kitchens and other industrial flooring applications. As the name suggests, Aqua Plus is ideally suited to applications where water and other liquids can collect on the tile surface. The specially developed R12V4 “Opticorn” hard wearing profiled surface provides the optimum level of drainage to minimise the risks of slips and falls where water and other liquids can pond. This makes Aqua Plus in the R12V4 profile the leading choice for aquatic centres concourses.

Unique with the Aqua Plus series is the combined benefits of a glazed surface with Hytect. The glazed surface provides a significant ongoing maintenance cost advantage over alternative unglazed products. The glazed nature of Aqua Plus is easy to maintain and keep clean as the glaze prevents stains and dirt impregnating into the tile biscuit. Hytect delivers a material which is stain resistant, easy to clean, anti-bacterial and neutralises pollutants and odours. Independent reports have demonstrated that the Hytect surface combined with the glazed surface and V rated profiles provides significant cost reductions in maintenance and cleaning costs.

Aqua Plus is available in four traditional colours, including White, Beige, Grey and Anthracite.

The primary format is a 200x200mm tile which provides an ideal size to facilitate easy installation with falls to drainage points whilst minimising tile cuts. Aqua Plus is also available in a smooth R10 surface, as a matching skirting tile or rounded coved skirting complete with a large 35mm radius that complies with AS4674 – Design Construction and Fit-out of Food Premises.
